Summary description
This report shares findings from a collaboration involving Foundations of Success (FOS), the Science and Technical Advisory Panel (STAP) for the Global Environmental Facility (GEF), and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation (GBMF).
The research began when all three partners realized they were exploring similar ideas about how to expand projects and programs effectively. STAP was creating guidelines for GEF Nature-based Solution Programs, while Nick Salafsky from FOS and Richard Margoluis from GBMF were co-authoring a book called "Pathways to Success: Taking Conservation to Scale in Complex Systems." This document uses insights from these sources and additional research funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
